How likely are you going to DEEPLY regret selling one of these?

have already sold one, and do not regret it; had too many camera's and are these months selling quite big parts of my collection....

oh and the type 2, this type 2 is especially rare since the table on its back is not in English, like most of them, but in French (I guess therefore this camera was meant for the Canadian market shortly after WWII)

FYI - I think there were at least two, maybe three different shutter releases used in the GX. The first one had a very hard two stage release, and notchy, hard to stay smooth at low shutter speeds. I had one, got rid of it, but was told later versions were changed. If you go this route, make sure to test it first.

I bought an FX recently. I concur on this point.

I used to have a first version GX. Its two stage release was frustrating . The FX feels very smooth in comparison.

Another issue with the GX were the take up spools not locking into place like the classic Rolleis do. The FX also corrected this.

Finally it’s great that they went back to the alligator clip strap lugs.

All in all, very impressed with the FX. It’s not the same level of refinement as the F series rolleis, but it feels extremely solid nonetheless, similar to how solid my Hasselblad 503cw feels.
