I'm using a 6008AF and as many others (!) have battery issues. Finding this thread and the older one where JWMster and IC-RACER described how to recell a battery with LiPo made me very happy. I did that today, following the excellent instructions they posted - thanks for doing that!! Here's that link

I did run into a couple of issues though. With the recelled battery the camera won't trip the shutter. Switching back to a NiCd lets the camera trip the shutter and everything. The two lenses I tried on the camera with the LiPo recelled battery now "reports" as having f/2.0 maximum aperture (they're f/3.5 and f/4 lenses in reality). I've tried resetting the camera but it didn't correct this problem. I have a third lens, which correctly reads as an f/2.8 lens.
Is there a chance that something got fried in the camera or the lens from the higher voltage of the LiPo battery? I'm using the Turnigy nano-tech 450mAh battery.
Any advise much appreciated!
