Where did you get the foam rubber? Mine is starting to go....

I got it from B&H. I was putting it off for a while then remembered a few years ago how I was delaying my order on that Jobo 3005 drum and then poof its gone:sad:

ic-racer inspired me to take a shot at restoring a Seal 200 Commercial that I bought on Craigslist. Here it is, still waiting on a new pad from B&H and some high temp wire to complete rewiring it.

It came out looking nice!
I just purchased one yesterday for $100 off of craigslist. It needs a little cleaning on the top, otherwise it's in real nice shape. I never thought about applying a coat of paint. I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks for re-posting the images. Mine is from a former graphics company, and the plate needs cleaning. Tried the Seal cleaner, but still have old residue. Any secrets to sanding the plate?

It looks as if you have a brand new press. Did you replace the heating elements also? Now how much is the hernia operation going to cost from lifting that monster? I have a hernia and don't dare lift my press and it is much smaller that yours.....Regards!
I met up with the seller at a photo meet. We lifted it together to my car. When home, I disassembled it to get it out of my car and into the basement piece by piece.
