faberryman's quotation was one that stuck with me, too. I thought, "Geeez.... is that what they think?" Film is doomed if folks get into it in order to make crappy pictures. Instead of a hipster craze, it'll just be the "crappy photo fad". Fortunately, the video didn't end there but went on to allow the quotes of those seeking the film color palette or other aspects of film. Thanks for posting this.

Just FWIW, Fuji did make/sell/brand a Medium Format film camera in the digital age.... and so I suspect we would be remiss (and it would be unfair) to write them off too quickly.

There used to be way way more crappy pictures, back when film was big and every joe owned a camera

You are right that there were many crappy snapshots when there was only film. But there are many more now, even if one does not count the selfies and food pictures.

Only because film rolls are capped a 36 exposures

Note: Just for the records, back when I was a teenager, I shot countless crappy pictures with disposables and later with my Endeavor 400ix. Those were good days.

I love seeing this. Makes me hope the Japanese market will keep us in film for a long time. Thanks for sharing.
