I'm selling one of my enlargers. This enlarger has been modified with a pin registration negative holder, film punch and registration base. This allows absolute precision for masking of the camera negative. By masking the camera negative and the variable contrast VCCE head one can alter contrast within tonal segments of the print.

Included are the enlarger, power supply, flexible focusing extension, pin registered negative (glass) holder, film punch, and registration base, & 150 mm nikkor enlarging lens.

The baseboard has a small "Ding" on back right corner.- has no effect on operation of the enlarger.

Asking $2,525.00. Packing and shipping to US only (or pick up in Phoenix) at buyers expense. Payment via PayPal within 3 days. Photos provided to serious buyers.

It would appear you are attempting to compare apples with oranges. I would venture your "aussie member" lacks the pin registration capability. Perhaps you don't understand this.

I got one for €300. Without the pin registration, that’s true, but the sale included a complete Heiland Split Grade system and a lot of other stuff. And for €50 the seller brought it to my door.

Sure, but rarity doesn't always equate to value, especially with such limited use.

I don’t like to put a price tag on other people's stuff or services, although this offer is way beyond what I can pay/afford.

In the end, if the price isn’t right, the market will show it and the seller will lower the price accordingly.

There’s another enlarger for sale right now here with a price tag that, for me, looks like a typo.

The LPL 4x5 4550 XLG's with VCCE/K&IF have been trending between $2,500 to $4,500 for years on eBay. Incredible enlarger - best I've ever owned and used in 50 years of darkroom work - worth every penny (and unless someone is selling one who doesn't know what it is you'll not see one any less expensive). New they still go for around $6,0000.
