...i've attached a Mamiya quick shoe model 2 to the camera - and it sort of fits. The paired pins dont go in very deep, but they do stop un-wanted slackening off. The camera's tripod bush isn't quite flush unlike other Mamiyas - and that doesnt help. It protrudes from the base rather like an Agfa folder. I've packed the gap underneath at the sides with cut-up mouse pad material to improve tightness of fit. It's all a bit of a fudge though and i notice thee is a quick shoe Model 1. Can anyone comment on the worth of this? Is the fit better than QS 2?? Or do you prefer a different quick-release all together? Thanks.

Generic ArcaSwiss 6x8cm plate works fine to me.

Interesting, this looks like it’s wide enough to grab onto the edges of the body. A little smaller and the plate only has the little raised mount to hold onto and it will just slip and unscrew.
