another oldie but goodie....
Was thinking of using pyrocat HD, but most references are to sheet film or jobo rotating tanks. Is it reasonable to use it for standard reel tanks for 35mm or 120? Do you really have to raise developing time by 50% for small reel tanks with intermittant agitation?

I also observe less speed loss (if any) with Delta 100 and 400 Films in Pyrocat HD. I am starting to wonder whether the streaks I see on films are not related to the age of the Pyrocat - one of the solutions (I think it is A) got rather strong yellow and much denser - maybe it does not dissolve properly in the working solution and causes the problem. I bought the Pyrocat HD some 8 or 9 years ago. Maybe it is time to get a fresh one

I use it for all film sizes. A lot of the times given are for rotary processing, and if you are using intermittent agitation, you will need to add time. How much depends on your agitation scheme, but I would think with agitation every minute, time added would be more like 25%. As always, you’ll need to test.
