Yes, the camera itself adds the curves to horizontal lines and this is not avoidable with this type of cameras. I think some people hate this and get Fujifilm TX-2 or Hasselblad XPan. I don't mind the distortion.

Exactly.... on many of those you show the distortion of the horizon and of vertical edges of buildings is quite acceptable, almost unnoticeable, in my view. A few of the interiors you show exhibit the curvature that attends pointing the camera up or down. A few examples of mine are at http://mysite.verizon.net/vze7pfrw/id14.html
