I have one like that, also. But I also have a big paper chopper - real handy for cutting film and colour paper in total darkness......

Yeah, the limitation of the Dahle I have is that it only cuts up to around 13" width. Fortunately, I get by just fine with 10" and 12" rolls for the most part, but it's nice to have something that can easily and accurately cut larger dimensions as well.
I find colour a pain to deal with but fun at the same time....
Hmmmm. We should have a sign-up for round 60 by now (Aug 1). @George Nova Scotia has not been "seen" since June 21. So....
sign up starts in September.
So it does. Not sure why I thought it was August. Anyway, glad to see you've not been abducted!
Not been abducted but I have been thoroughly scanned and prodded over the last couple months. Hopefully some results next week.

Thanks a lot! I got it and I hope I can do itThat would be great, @KitosLAB!
Here's how it works:
The postcard exchange is organized one round at a time. This means you can sign up for a round, and then for the round after that, you'd have to sign up again (if you want). Every round starts with a call where @George Nova Scotia asks who wants to participate. You contact him by sending him a private message, including your post address and the maximum number of cards you'd like to send/receive. He'll place you on the list, and once the list is done, each participant receives a list of names you're supposed to send your cards to. You send out the cards, and wait for nice ones to be sent to you. That's it! Once the addresses are sent out to each participant, a new thread is opened where the participants can report which cards they have received.
The next round will be PCX#60 and it's scheduled to start in September with a call for participants. Keep an eye on this forum and specifically for a thread titled "Postcard Exchange Round 60 Sign Up". Once that emerges (which will be in early September, I expect), you can sign up in that thread.
Thanks a lot! I got it and I hope I can do it![]()
Yes. thanks for the clarification, I want to clarify more. I want to take my photos from the film, but print them at Ukrposhta at the main post office. This is a standard postcard and looks like this (photo from the official website of Ukrposhta). Will it comply rules? The more the merrier. The exchange used to require the image to be film-sourced but it's recently changed to allow digital images. Any kind of printing is allowed, also (enlarging, contact-printing, inkjet) - including alt processes like cyanotype. Most people go with enlarging to 4x6 or 5x7 paper. You can sign up to send any number of cards - up to the number of participants. Recently, there have been around 20 people per exchange. You can send your prints in envelopes or as postcards - that's up to you. Sometimes, cards may get lost in the mail (maybe to turn up 80 years later), and you shouldn't worry about that.

Yes, absolutely. Your photo, they print it, that's completely fine. That's a great service, by the way.
We're doing our best to have this a completely relaxed and fun exchange.
