I got all of mine mailed today and apologize in advance if you find the card you receive is just odd  All the cards are different and I sent them randomly.
I believe I've received mine - it is from Don, but it doesn't mention which round it relates to.
"Leaf Detail" - interesting repeated patterns. At first, I thought it was an aerial photo!

I didn't see the bit about marking them with the round. You can feel free to pencil it in. I think about half the ones I sent are of leaves of some kind - the others are just weird.

It isn't a rule, but those of us who participate regularly, and regularly receive late cards from previous rounds, appreciate receiving cards with the Round #, a title and the photographer's name on them.
I recently did a bit of editing, but I still have cards from almost every round since Round 7!

"HOLY T-REX BATMAN" there's Dinosaurs invading Taipei, this card from Hkbenji (Sprocket Rocket) is great. Even shows a dinosaur flying thru the air , have not seen as much action since Godzilla visited Tokyo, good camera angle fits the dinos in perfect with the foreground and back ground, great one Benjamin.
Don Heisz, your Miniature Toy Cat is simple elegant , very minimal and uncluttered, very nice.

Got @mike c 's card today - very nice stepping of tones in the background - looks like a fictitious place. I'm starting to get envious of the sepia toning. (I have a kit but have never mixed it up.)
Thanks Don, sepia toning takes a bit more time and since this PCE had fewer cards it was not to much of a task, and it really help the photograph look better I think.

I also received @mike c's card today. Apparently Switzerland and Ontario are close together, postally speaking. The impression of depth with the staggered hills in the mist is remarkable. Thank you very much

It's a shame I don't have a (secondarily? :D) railroad themed card to reply this with this time. Maybe in the next round!
Thanks for the kind words Michael, When ever I visit family up there I always leave early and stop at this place for the possibility of catching a morning train working its way up the grade, nice place for watching the early morning sunrise also.

Received a very cool wide-angle shot of a dinosaur surveying traffic - including what looks like a flying triceratops - all the was from @hkbenji in Hong Kong. It's longer than a standard postcard, being panoramic. It's also an inkjet print - but a very good one, matte with good black and nice tones.

I just received a nice card from Don Heisz, "Yellow Flowers". A leaf surrounded by three darkish flowers, which Don explains are turned dark by the MZ3 film. I'll have to research that film. Thanks Don!

It's weird Russian copy film - I think it's only blue sensitive. It's about iso6,maybe 3. It's old and develops with too much fog so it's better to overexpose and underdevelop, which slows it down even more. It's a "screwing-around" kind of film - not at all trustworthy. Still a bit interesting, though.

I received the dinosaurs from @hkbenji, very cool panorama and how the heck is that dino flying in the sky! At the same time I also got @hkbenji card for round #52, pretty weird, the post stamp are almost 2 months apart, must have gotten stuck in the mail somewhere. No matter, glad I received it, it's a very nice cyanotype of some trees with an exposed root system, definitely worth the wait!

Last week I also received 'Morning Train' from @mike c , lovely sepia tone and nice layers with the mountains and haze in the background.

And already a while ago from @MattKing a pretty park landscape, good tones and also a nice sepia tone, like mike's, but totally different color, very interesting didn't know the sepia tone could come out so differently!
Also, received Leveque Tower from @mfohl and Dandelion Seeds from @Don Heisz

Many thanks for the nice cards!

I received a card from @hkbenji, the aforementioned dinosaur card. The picture is both funny and aesthetic. I like to entertain the question whether the dinosaur is going to eat the trucks or just direct traffic? The card is on heavier weight paper, rounding off the presentation. Thanks a lot!

I received drpsilver's card yesterday, "Caught in the Web". A very nice 4x5 image of leaves apparently caught in a spider web. At first glance, I thought they were instects - ick! Thanks Darwin!

Thought the same also about Darwin's post card, but looking closer the leaves start looking like notes on a music sheet. Could there be a connection between Beethoven and Darwin ?

I received @drpsilver's card "Caught in the Web". The pictures catches a very pleasing pattern, it's a contact print (an underappreciated genre), it's a bit humorous and it displays beautiful tonality. Thank you very much!

I suppose this is a contact print. How did you mask of the margins of the negative?

I also received Howard Simmons' card of the canal. Nice tones. And nice 4x5 contact with the white borders. You must use a mask. I'll have to try the mask, my borders are black. Thanks!

Thank you Mark, Mike, and Michael for your comments. I am glad that you like the image I used. The photo is indeed leaves caught in several spider webs. And, I wish I possessed 1% of what Beethoven had, if that! The card is not a contact print, but a very small enlargement. Using a 4-bladed easel makes uniform margins daily easy.

A lot of very nice cards have landed in my mailbox. My comments in no particular order.
"Gas Pipes" from distributed is a very nice illustration of how new and old have been mixed.
The card from bedrof is nice lith print from a very old town. The sepia/brown tone really add to the image. Well done.
A photo of the "Gowanis Canal Brooklyn, NY" from Howard Earl another example of how old meets new - canals carried the containers of the 1800's.
A very interesting image from Don Heisz of a maple seed. Initially I had no idea what it was, maybe a shell on a table, ....
"Morning east bound train, Cajon Pass" from mike c initially looked like sky and foreground with nothing much else. Until one looks closer, than the detail appear. The sepia tone really adds to the feeling of the photo.
I like the card from mfohl "Another Squiggle". I am always fascinated by how light and showdown play with non-planer surfaces.
"Winter Continues" from Matt King reminds me of some marshland near the SF Bay. The sepia tone is very subtle, but softens the contrasty parts of the image.
My favorite so far this round is the card from hkbeji. Nicely photographed and printed. Your perspective makes it look like Taoyuan City is dealing being attacked. Very well done.

Regards,
Darwin

I received @drpsilver 's card of leaves in a web. I also received the print of the very glassy from @Howard Earl .

@drpsilver - the maple seed was almost completely rotted away - it was more of a husk. It could have been with the leaves in your web, so a good trade, I think.

I received @Howard Earl's Gowanus Canal. It's a contact print of an area with industrial heritage seeing new development. It has a beautiful, tender tonality that I like a lot. My love for contact prints is getting stronger, I think. Thanks! What kind of mask did you use?

P.S. The emulsion got slightly torn in the middle, the distorted shapes having me woner whether I'm looking at a reflection

I received distributed's "Cow, Vorauen GL", a portrait of, in his words, an inquisitive and confiding cow. She seems interested in the photographer. Complete with bell. Nice tones, very nice backlighting on the ears. Thanks Michael!

I received gijsbert's photo of a very cool old car in Montreal. It's nice and shiny, it must have been cared for. I occasionally see similar old cars that are much larger than the one in the photo. They look like battleships driving down the street compared to the smaller new cars. Thanks Gijsbert!
