It's 2021 and that means it's time for a new round. I hope everyone is ready for Round 52. You have until January 31st to join but why wait, sign up today.

OK, now the standard text, but please read on:

There are links to the FAQs and an Introduction in my signature at the bottom.

As in the previous rounds, please signup by starting a conversation with me (used to be called PM) containing your full name, address (including the country - this is an international exchange) and the number of cards you are able to send or say maximum for the maximum possible number of cards. You can also choose "ALL" you will still only receive the MAX number of cards but you will receive the complete list so you can share your work with everyone if you choose.

As in the previous rounds, if you have been in the exchange for the last couple rounds and if your address is the same, you can sign on just with giving the number of cards here in the thread. No PM needed in this case.

Important! As in the previous rounds I will post lists of participants in this thread every once in a while. If you signed in (or if you think so) please come back to this thread and check if your name is on the list. If the name should be on the list but is not, then let me know. Once the address lists are sent out early in February I can not do any changes. And also check for the number of cards behind your name.

There are a couple threads with an introduction and FAQs (check the links in my sig). Just send me a PM or ask here if you have any questions.

Please read on:

As in the previous rounds, not all participants have been able to send out the cards. For whatever reasons, if you have not fulfilled your last rounds commitment, send your cards before you sign in for this round. Just be fair. (and drop a note in the last round comments to let us know you are okay)

Now for those new to the postcard exchange, here is how it all works out.

First: It is fun!

Second: When registration is over, I will prepare address lists which I will send to the participants. You will have to send a card to every address on that list and you should receive back a card from everyone on that list. So if you join in for e.g. 20 cards you will have to send 20 cards and you should receive 20 cards back.

Third: Did I mention that it is fun? Where else can you receive cards from all over the world, different styles, different methods, different papers, and more.

George

I'm in! Same info.

Happy New Year to all of you.

I am in with 15 again.

I'm in!

Please sign me in for the MAX.

Same détails as previous rounds

Wishing you all the best for 2021 and I am all-in for the MAX with same info

Wish you all a great 2021!
I'll miss PCX52 and will be back for PCX53. I'm right in the middle of building a permanent darkroom in my flat.

PS - I'm in for the MAX. I forgot the amount on my first post.

Leb wohl with that and Happy New Year everyone! Sign me up for the max-same address as before.

04 Jan 2021

Hoping that 2021 will be better than 2020 in all aspects. I am in for the MAX. Same contact information as all previous rounds.

Regards,
Darwin

P.S. MattiS, it is really nice to have a "permanent" darkroom. Over the years I have worked in converted garage closets to bathrooms that had to be "packed-up" when we had guests. To be able to close the door, and return later without having to clear the bathroom space is a wonderful feeling. Good luck on your project.

In for Max again, please.

After the inspirations from the last round, I think I'll have a go with Cyanotypes... Apologies for beginner quality in advance..!

I'm in for 15-20 cards,

This seems like a fun project, and a good way to get to know the community. I would love to sign up for 10 cards. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to send a PM or start a conversation. Apologies also for the inevitable beginner quality of my first round of postcards.

You are probably prevented from starting a conversation due to your low post count - Sean (the site owner) instituted some anti-spam tools to prevent an onslaught of spammers, and low post count members are affected as well.
George can start a Conversation with you, and you will be able to respond.
Note to George - a newby is looking to hear from you :D.

I've just mailed my last cards for Round 51 and now I'm ready for another turn.
Same address, 10 cards.
Thanks!

Looks like we are up to 18 so far for 2021. As always if I've missed you or the number of cards is wrong please let me know.
Still time to join in but don't wait to the last minute.
