Have fun everyone - I'll miss participating!

So far so good with the new addresses, but let's give it a few more days.

A reminder for new members, no need to panic. We have two months to print and send, a one month rest, and then another month to sign up for the next round. So take it easy, let us know how you are doing and check in here every so often.

George

Yesterday I took some photos of local locations to use in this exchange. Hopefully there will be a suitable image to work with!

I just put my cards in the mail today. I hope the various postal services can read my chicken scratching!

Man, I need to get in the darkroom. I have yet to select an image for this round. Must make time to print!

Regards,
Darwin

Mine printed, just need to add details and addresses to them and a stamp of course before dropping in the mail box.

I shot a test roll in a Zenith-E with a 28mm today and they didn't turn out too bad at all..so I.printed some postcards and I am almost ready to start posting them.....almost.....

mfhol - your card of neighbor’s tree arrived today. Thank you.

All of my postcards have just been posted and will try to reach you swiftly and safely.

My cards in the post today.

I received a lovely postcard by and from @mfohl today already.Game on!
This nicely framed, exposed and printed scene of a park in Columbus Ohio makes me want to visit that place.
And let's face it: that's what postcards are ultimately all about

Thanks Mark!

You're welcome, Bill. If you ever visit Columbus, you can stay at our place, we have plenty of room!

Cheers,

-- Mark

PS - I love your signature about the screw-up; I can relate to that!

mfohl - Chan Turner‘s Barbershop arrived today. My stereotype of the rural, ancient America on your postcard. Actually a simple scene, but lots of nice details to find. Thanks!

Chan Turner's Barbershop arrived today. Many thanks Mfohl! It must have been a nice sunny day when you took that photo. This image let's me take my mind away from the current British weather of wind and rain!

I assume I missed the current round, how can I prepare to participate in the next one?

BSP - Great message! She takes the climate change seriously. ;-)

I´m just selecting negatives for next weekends mini-mass darkroom session.

mfohl's photo "Chan Turner's Barbershop" arrived the day before yesterday.
I like the framing with the two cropped recessed windows. The oblique angle of the photo in combination with the parallel wooden strips gives depth to the image. I really want to walk around the house to explore the mystery.

BSP's photo arrived yesterday. Who let the dog out? There are a few hints to discover on the picture ;-) I would love to go for a long walk on the beach of Vlissingen with a four-legged friend.

I received a nice card from oxleyroad yesterday! A very pleasant woodland scene from Muir Woods. I've been to Muir Woods once, and that's the kind of scene that I remember, if I wasn't looking up at the redwoods. Thanks!
