Oh man, so excited on this! Here we go. The frame I'm going to print is chosen. Altough the print needs some burning I'm still going to do this, because this is so cool.
Nice to have you with us-you always get something interesting.I will be mailing mine soon. My apologies to everyone for not printing in the darkroom, though I wish I could.
I look forward to seeing what everyone has in store! This is my first go-round!
Just received it; thanks very much. Lovely light and airy feel-do you know Josef Sudek's work at all?All 19+extra prints labelled and ready, only stamps and then off they go. Flying around the globe on monday, yei!

Jouni,
Your card landed on my doormat yesterday morning. My wife picked it up and she was visibly suprised and amused by receiving such a nice card all the way from Finland with a picture of a fig plant she also has growing in our garden. The image has a certain "lightness" about it which I find very appealing. Very well done in capture and print. Thank you very much.
There are numerous books around on him-you could start with the Photofile (Thames & Hudson) or Phaidon 55 (Phaidon) if you want a pocket sized introduction. There was an Aperture monograph on him published in 2004 if you want something more substantial. John Gossage ('The Pond') is somebody else you might find interesting, as well as Lee Friedlander ('Flowers and Trees').Wow already?!??!
Good that you liked it. I don't know Josef Sudeks work but first glance is like wow - a golden tip. Thank you. BTW: can you suggest any of Sudeks books?
I also have gotten veddostuu's card today and it is very nice, did not know that fig trees grew in the northern climates, they grow crazy around here, often producing more fruit than I can handle.
The plant-theme now covers 100% of the postcards I have received.
Did I miss out on some secret instruction?
