Ups, then it seems that I ran my program too late. Sorry for that, the lists should be the same then.

ciao

Well, I got two mails as well, but yours is better when it comes to non-ASCII characters (straße, vägen, that sort of things). Nothing I couldn't have guessed, but still...

Randy or Ruediger,

I didn't see my name on the list.

HowardDvorin
Howard, of course not because that is the list of people you should send cards to. So nobody is on his own list.

Hi all,

OK, I am guilty for causing all this confusion. I thought I would save Randys time by letting the program send the emails, but obviously Randy had already sent out the emails. Sorry for that.

I have sent PMs to the people that I could not send emails to. So everyone should now have at least one email or one PM. And I assume that most of you have either two emails or two PMs with address lists. The lists send by Randy and the lists send by me should be the same. The lists contain all addresses that you should send cards to. So do not search your name in the list. Who ever wants to send a card to his/her own address (well, I will  ) should know the address

Once again, sorry for the confusion I caused and ciao

Is it possible to get in. I just missed the deadline.
Too bad, with our algorithm it is not easy to get you in after the deadline, but, whoever is going to send an extra card to you should send a PM to you with the address and you reply with your address. So you should at least get my address

I've been a bit busy recently so I didn't get to put a message up before now about Sean and Simon. Before the addresses went out I spoke with Sean and he asked me not to include his mailing info in the list for now. He wanted to be part of the Exchange and I got the impression that he might feel bad about getting postcards but not sending any back out. That's just my take on his message though, so don't hold my feet to the fire if I misinterpreted what he said.

As for Simon, I just wanted to make sure that no one confused his name with those that they should send cards to as part of their chosen commitment. I will be posting his address here for those that would like to send him a card voluntarily shortly - I just wanted to make sure that the main lists got out fine and everyone got sorted out before I posted it.

If anyone didn't get their list of address please let me know right away. Also, I've got two people who just missed the date by a day who would like to participate, so if anyone is interested in sending one or two extra cards, please PM or email me and I will put something together for these two people.

Thanks again to everyone who is part of this round!

- Randy

OK, for those who would like to thank Simon for his efforts in getting Ilford's Postcard paper back into production by sending him a postcard, here is his address.

HARMAN technology Limited,
Town Lane,
Mobberley,
Knutsford,
CHESHIRE.
WA16 7JL
UNITED KINGDOM

Marked : For the attention of Simon.R.Galley

It is not by any means mandatory to send a card to Simon, so please don't feel pressured, but I would encourage anyone who might have the time and an extra sheet of postcard stock to consider sending him a card. Simon has worked hard to help the film using community in general, and the APUG community specifically, and he's a great guy to boot.

Randy and Ruediger,

Thanks for the list you sent. The only concern I have is that there are no apug names next to the real names so I won't know whom I'm thanking for the cards? I guess maybe everyone should put their apug names along with their real names on the postcards themselves.

Kate, that is what I assume, at least I put my APUG name on the cards. So the next round will contain the APUG name in the address list.

I created (there was a url link here which no longer exists) for posting mailing and other announcements, so please use that thread for sending and receiving announcements or as a place to post that you are running behind. I went ahead and moved all the announcement type posts over there already, so if you were following one of them, that's where they can be found.

If you missed the sign-up for this round, you can go to (there was a url link here which no longer exists) to see the schedule for the next round and to get more information on the Exchange. You can also contact me via either PM or email and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks!

- Randy
