Works for me, but here's an actual upload.

Stalking a swan and her chick with an 80s Fujica AX-5 and a old Fujinon zoom, the film is XP2...very good IQ IMO, I was surprised.

I find that birds and animals do not like to help by let me photograph their eyes. They will do anything to look the other way.
Many critters prefer not being "stared at". And will "turn away". Preditors often will stare at their intended "meal". Do you "stare" at a bird or other animal before taking a picture? Maybe that is the problem. If you have a dog, try staring, looking the animal "straight in the eye". I'll bet it will turn away, or maybe growl and show its teeth. Try it sometime.........Regards!

This is very much not my usual subject, but I was going through some old negs and thought this one was worth printing.

New Zealand fur seals, on the South Island, circa 1998. HP5+ in Rodinal, printed on Ilford MG. Fun fact: this was developed 15 years after exposure.

I don't know... I think my shots aren't nearly as interesting as some of the ones I see already in this thread. Nevertheless here is a robin I photographed a few days ago. I used Arista EDU 400 developed in Rodinal.

Great work! I wish that I had the patience to sit still long enough to get wildlife photographs of the quality that you do.
