Something wonderful about this.
Going to Asia is almost cheating, because it’s so damn photogenic and exotic there. Sometimes I even think it’s exotic to locals. ;-)

There is more at play here though than simple exoticism.
There is no real subject, but the photo gets away with it and plays with it.
The centerpiece becomes the geometry of the composition.

Thanks for your comment, Helge. Agreed, while everything is in motion, it's the geometry that makes this picture work. Also, part of the 'exotic' element of photography in a place like this -a very busy wet market in downtown Saigon, is that the boundaries between the private and public spheres are fluid. He lives in Winterpeg, they call it 'Sleet Photography' there.:wink:
I didn't realize that Winterpeg got warm enough for sleet....:whistling:

Ugh...Randy Bachman. That guy can toddle off into the sunset anytime, IMO.

Neil Young is always cool but I'm not a fan of the former.
