Whoah while on the SWC topic here are a few of mine I happen to have in my phone.

Sorry for the ugly presentation. A little imagination can help.

All right, this is a wrap from me. For many more past and future work, you can follow me on instagram. Lots of darkroom action in my instagram storie, too. About 1000 ten seconds videos.

Sorry to see you go, Ned. I've been enjoying these panoramic images, but I don't do Instagram.

Hey thanks!
I’m not leaving the forum and this is not one of those silly au revoir posts, it’s just that the interactions in this thread are close to unexistant...

Well, not all of us shoot street photography daily and print almost as often...

Have been following your amazing work on Ista for some time, Ned, also on LUF before you departed. If this forum used ‘likes’ you would see lots of appreciation, but commenting saying stuff like ‘that’s great, nice compo’, etc etc can get a bit much for the other members.

Yes I know, and it would indeed be too much. Forums were never really good platforms for this anyway, instagram is simpler and so much easier: next, next, next (flurries of endorphins, addiction... yadda yadda...)

I'll look you up on IG. The work you've shared here is fantastic. You have a gift for photography and apparently printing too!

Dear NB23:

Your work is superb!

I don't 'do' instagram (or facebook, or tiktok, or ...); I've been on the internet for a long time but this new fangled stuff - I don't know. But then, I was sure www & html would never catch on.

So I will really miss seeing your work. I am always checking this forum to see if you have posted something new.

Hello friends, I now feel a bit silly. I was under the impression that I was slightly polluting this thread while also understanding that this forum wasn’t the proper place to show photography outside of a discussion.
I don’t mind posting my stuff and I will continue to do so, then

Thread title is "post your street photography here" -- don't know what could be more correct than, well, posting your street photography here. If the board admins were concerned about issues like storage space, they'd tell us -- and even then, it's apparently possible to embed images hosted elsewhere (I don't have the trick, but I've seen it done many times) which doesn't use Photrio storage at all (aside from a trivial amount for the actual text of the post and link).

Thank you very much. Critiquing your work would feel a bit like critiquing Cartier-Bresson or Walker Evans. Now, if needed, find a sharp pin and stick it in your head to deflate.

No please, I assure you this doesn’t go to my head. I am very pleased by your comment (and everyone’s) but I have learned long ago that the only way to continue in this hobby is to do it for the love of it. There is absolutely nothing to gain from it except a stroke here and there.
I’ve been doing this stuff seriously for 30 years now, including the printing, started at 15-16 and simply never stopped. Friends were going out, I was going into the darkroom. By 20 I shot images that I couldn’t equal ever since and which I consider were my best. Naivety is reaponsible for a huge part of succesful art.
All I’m trying to say is that 25 years later, many prizes and somewhat prestigious recognitions later, I’m still a nobody. And if I were to knock on a few editor’s doors for a book, the answers would undoubtedly be clear No. i’m not playing the “friend of a friend” game, so that’s limiting as well.
There is no market for this stuff, no clear audience, no money. In the end it’s only Love for the misunderstood art

It’s still cheaper than any other respectable hobby, so...
