Thanks!

floating in the fixer

These are some of my favorite images on APUG lately. Adding to the fun: You're taking pictures of your pictures floating in the wash. That's awesome.

How should I hang this print? Both seem acceptable

Sort of in the style of Meyerowitz and Winogrand, ie disparate actors in the frame (normally) unaware how their collective behaviour looks photographically.

Actually puts me in mind of a Rush album cover -- for an album they never recorded. Or a 1970s album from any of several other groups, for that matter.

A line of people waiting to get in to Trader Joes on 14th Street, in the early days of the COVID pandemic. The line stretches the length of the block. While things are better now in terms of the line, you can still see people lined up outside this particular Trader Joes most days.

This one I could not have done in normal times. This was shot during the first weeks of the COVID lockdown last year. I was standing in the middle of 14th Street in DC (in a crosswalk), in between traffic lights. The cars on 14th coming toward me had the green light.

In a totally different vein - balloon vendors on the plaza in San Luis Potosi, Mexico:

And at the artists' market, San Angel, Mexico City:

It was only what I saw... but I had to be quick I remember. And both far sides of the frame were as important. I definitely needed 28mm, but only had a 35
