I cant avoid thinking of color film photography without being invaded by Harry Gruyaert, Saul Leiter, Ernst Haas images...

But the color of the red rock is way off in the second photograph.

I have been thinking about this and decided it may not be that innacurate. Colorado redrocks can give off widely varying color depending sun angle, viewing angle, and cloud cover. There is sometimes a very blue color cast from the sky and altitude. These are from Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, elevation about 6500ft. I think this comes all of this comes into play in the 2nd photo.

That red for that rock is way off. I know I have spent a lot of time with those formations.

Blue Poles

Far more impressive in real life and colour, look good on the living room wall. Had a Rothko painting near by to calm the mind. Actually had an impressive collection and theres a Van Gogh exhibition starting tomorrow, but unfortunately I was only there for last weekend.
