Post your street photography here

Great photography, reminds me a little of Trent Parke, did you use a red filter?

Thanks.
Yes, I used a B+W 092, and the film was either foma 400 or Ilford SFX.

Thanks for letting me know. Sometime we post without knowing if people even see them. I could go on posting forever... also, I’m never sure if I’m double posting, and if I do, it’s just because I’m confused with the whole computer interface. I much prefer prints where the bunch on the left is what needs to be seen and the bunch on the right what has already been seen.

This whole group of photos you’re sharing are splendid. Thanks for sharing!

Clearly to my eyes a digital photo of a print beats the pants off a scanned negative for social media, and obviously tons better for displaying on the wall. Wish I had the space for a proper darkroom but I’d be risking divorce for a makeshift.

Street photography can be challenging and frustrating at times, but generally in a good way in my personal experience. Joel Meyerowitz talked about listening for the Zen bell, which is a lovely way of putting it. What Passing-Bells ? (The Call), Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, Summer 2019...Fomapan 400 has quite a distinctive look, which will definitely repay further experimentation.
