18x24 Mammo Shortie Sawed Off Norma by Nokton48, on Flickr

This is a test shot (my Shorty Norma) French Kodak 18x24cm Mammo Film, processed in D23 1:1. Taking camera is my new Annie/Avedon inspired 8x10 Norma. I applied 30 degrees of front and rear swing, the Norma original recessed lensboard is sharp all the way across the field. I like how the DOF drops off with the 360mm f5.6 Norma Symmar. There appears to be highlight blooming, which I find kind of attractive. Best thing about this film was that it was not at all expensive. And I have a lot of it

My "Shorty Sawed-Off Norma" has a basic rail cut down, to just accomodate a 120mm lens. Here it is shown with the 47mm f8 Super Angulon, which I am looking forward to using a lot with 2x3 and 6x9. This is not a telephoto camera, but I can easily lift and carry it with one hand without strain. The lowly Star-D tripod is sturdy enough with this setup, given proper time to settle down. I cut both ends off a basic Norma rail with my Lil Machine Shop Bandsaw. So it is now simply a hollow tube perfect length for Field and Architecture.

And this is the camera that took the above photo. My 8x10 Norma Back Field Front

I like photographing shells too.
Shooting black & white and then coloring them is a favorite past time.
Shot with Hasselblad 501CM, CFi 120/4, & Kodak Tri-X.
I used the A16 back to save on film.
The negative was photographed on a light box, so its aspect ratio is warped.

A Hasselblad owner and user, obviously a very wise person. Kudos.

Hasselblad 500 C/M + S-Planar 120mm + dark orange filter on Tri-X 400ASA in window light, processed in E-76 1+1, and printed on FomaBrom FB so that the red and the wood parties, which are bleaker due to the filter, are rendered darker than 'normal' (what pulls the blue of the dish too).

Adox Ortho PL25 5x7 Norma MicX 360 Apo Ronar by Nokton48, on Flickr

5x7 Sinar Norma #2 360mm F9 Rodenstock Apo Ronar barrel at F11 Adox 5x7 Ortho PL25 Yellow filter Broncolor C200 1500WS Monolight popped eight times into Broncolor Octobox 150 with supplemental diffusion. 4x6 foot foamcore fill right just out of the frame. Legacy Mic-X straight replenished mixed in 2019. 5x7 Contact Print on Arista RC #2 Dektol 1:2 . I shot one frame at four pops, and one at eight pops. The denser neg looks better to me. Canvas background is "Tim Kelly Gold Plaster" painted for me by Artist David Maheu.

Petzval type unmarked brass projection lens Makiflex No iris by Nokton48, on Flickr

Unmarked Petzval type beautiful brass Projection Lens vintage late 1800's? Central stop removed, very swirly beautiful bokeh. I'd guess 200mm focal length, I wanted speed and I'd guess about F3.5 wide open. Sharpest in the center, central bouquets were focused on and are sharp! Depth of Field is near nil. Orwo NP22 9x12cm I bought in bulk from Bulgaria. Voigtlander Makiflex Plate Holder pretty good match. RADA made plates from Plaubel and were hooked up with them for a good while. These tend to light leak and I'd retrapped a lot of plate holders, could maybe be improved? I also have some French and Russian Plate holders that seem to work as well. Yes it is sharp in the center only, that was my intention. Removing the central interior stop increased the swirly bokeh, and increased speed to about F3.5 or so. The central stop was blackened by a candle, the black soot got all over my fingers. NP22 developed in straight Legacy Mic-X Replenished. A Deep Tank Developer that lasts for many many years

The Xenar has a pleasing look and I am stoked to have it. I have not used it much at all.

C22 No 2 135mm New Leitz Tiltall Hacked Leitz Ball Head by Nokton48, on Flickr

Mamiya C22 Body #2 with 135mm Blue Dot Yellow Filters Paramender. Mounted on new to me Leitz Tiltall heavily modified. Regular column replaced with modern black one with Leitz Ball Head neatly permanently attached. This new Ball Head (same as on my Leitz Tabletop Tripod) works great on the original Tiltall and a Japanese Quick Mount, which also works great with the Paramender. This weighs little enough that I can carry it around with one hand without straining. And it is rock solid Leica Quality. Broncolor Octobox 150 left, 4x6 foamcore right. Sony Nex-7 with Zeiss Touit Makro Planar 2.8/50. Painted background by David Maheu "Tiim Kelly Gold Plaster".
