elk grow and shed their antlers once a year.
And for elk, deer, and moose, if they aren't picked up pretty promptly, they vanish. Porcupines and rodents eat them for the calcium...

Thanks. Fog is definitely a balancing act. It's a challenge to get good definition and keep the quality of light. Because of that, how it looks on different monitors is my concern. It looks the way I want on my home monitor where I worked it, a little darker on my phone, and darker still on the monitors at work.
Remember, this is just 1 ass----'s opinion. You have posted much better images in this thread already. That being said, I'm still intrigued because I have no idea what the heck I am looking at. (some type of installation piece)? It's still a strong composition and a decent exposure, I've just become so used to your excellent skies in your other images. Maybe I'm a cloud snob?
P.S I googled the thing. Interesting. makes me want to watch the Netflix documentary now.
