Now try Rollei IR 400, I think you will really like it.

Yes, a very nice film. I've just developed another roll of it in fact.

I have yet to try SFX 200, because it looks a bit too grainy for my liking. IR 400 has remarkably little grain for a 400 speed film.

I have used Rollei IR 400 with the R25 filter. It is even better with the R29 filter or the 720 [aka 72] filter, but the 720 requires a tripod.

I've only tried it with the R72 filter. I would think the Wood effect would be quite subtle with an R25/R29, given the film's response.

I have the R23, R25, R29 and 730 filters. I like the 720 best for IR where it Wood effect is the strongest, I use the others with panchromatic films.

I tried something kind of similar with a 4x5 camera this past summer and almost had the cops called on me.

I know this when capturing German kids - lots of trouble with their parents ...
This were migrant children and I had a nice chat with their parents - they gave me some tasty food from their homeland (Romania).

While my faulty Pentax 645NII was out of action recently, I dug out an old 35mm camera (Cosina C1) I hadn't used for years - probably over a decade - and to my surprise it dry fired ok and the lights in the viewfinder that indicate under/over and correct exposure worked. So I bought a roll of b&w film and shot with it. I only have a 16mm semi fisheye lens for it so was really restricted with what I could shoot, hence it took me a couple months to use the film up. I used a red filter for every shot. A lot were overexposed, but fortunately I bracketed and got some not too bad ones. Any way, here they are:
Edit: for some reason the pictures have appeared above the text, even though I wrote the text first. Oh well
