Love it, Thanks for posting! I need to get used to my Apo Lanthar! Mine looks sharp on the groundglass. Do you have an aperture controlled Apo Lanthar, that is the Holy Grail of Makiflex!!
Congrats!! Love the curved corners.

Standard Makiflex N51 Russian 21cm f4.5 F8 9x12cm Ortho D23 8x10 Arista Ansco 130 by Nokton48, on Flickr

Several years ago I loaded a number of 9x12cm RADA Normalfalz Metal Cassettes, with Kodak 9x12cm Film Inserts. Ilford Ortho 50 9x12cm. Standard Plaubel Makiflex with 21cm f4.5 Russian N51 at F8, blisteringly hot Summer Day, Maki on Manfrotto Jumbo Ball Head, and Manfrotto Legs. Plaubel Makiflex 9x12cm Metal Cassette Film Back, it's a bail back with metal "hooks" to hold the cassette flat. Light leak evident, from now on loaded cassettes go into light proof black plastic bags! This holder was exposed to normal room lights for several years. So I have learned a lesson.. Test could have used more depth of field, but the lens passes the test, I like it! I focused on the base of the tree and it's sharp. I also need to finish filing out the 9x12cm Omega D2 Negative Carrier, to get the full left edge of the 9x9cm Maki Negative. It's a bit CURVY now LOL.

6.5x9cm Plaubel Metal Cassette Back Holders Films by Nokton48, on Flickr

I have a lot of expired 6.5x9cm film in my freezer. I am starting to figure out what I have. I did load up the truck for sure! The Back has only "Made in Germany"stamped on it. Nothing else. 75mm x 118mm are width and length. I use the Combiplan Tanks for 6.5x9 developing six plates at a time. Works good! Like inversion agitation D23 1:1. The Orwo NP22 and NP15 are interesting, bought multiples from Yugoslavia.

I remember Gandolphi had a Makiflex, we talked about how lovely it is to show the curved corners early in this thread. Geoff Berliner said to me on the phone (he called me back six times, Maki his favorite camera of all), That "it is NUTS" to shoot 6.5x9 on this camera! 9x9 is so rare design for reflex. I do agree with that. Right now I am shooting 9x9cm on 9x12 sheet film.

I need to finish filing out a weird Omega D Negative Carrier (9x12cm I think) from Germany, finishing filing out one side of it will allow a slight border around the negative when printing, which I like right now. Show those beautiful, curved Maki corners!

Fuji 100mm F4 Makiflex Fp4+ Mic-X by Nokton48, on Flickr

This is a test of the 100mm F4 Fuji GX680 lens, which I hacked to the Plaubel Makiflex. Ilford FP4+ Mic-X dev

In our city "Connell's Hardware" has been a fixture for over a hundred years. I loved to go in there, Ralph Connell knew where every screw and nut and thingee were to be had. Connells had a pot bellied stove for heat, and was the central fixture of the store. One day everybody asked "where is Ralph" and they found him slumped next to the stove. He was 92. Connells has now been converted into the very cool "Vicks Pizza" which embellishes the history of Connells. Here I have crammed the Makiflex into a corner of the locked up establishment, the original sign is even in Vick's logos and restaraunt design, The sign is now gone but sold for big big big bucks.

Maki Orwo 22 6x9 sheet Microphen by Nokton48, on Flickr

Testing some extremely old NP20 6.5x9cm sheet, purchased from seller in Bulgaria. Microphen used per suggestion. I have quite a bit of this film. Focus thin but looks sharp on the branch I focused on.

Automatic Makiflex 150 Xenotar by Nokton48, on Flickr

My first Handheld Makiflex Automatic image! I think a success. 150mm F2.8 Xenotar wide-open, Foma 200 Legacy Mic-X Replenished. I remember Geoff Berliner told me "I like your fish."
