I made a submission the last two years (since getting my darkroom up), I expect to do so again this year. At the least, I've got the CCB 6x6 and the Ondu 135 single/double frame, and if I can find time/space to go through a couple tubs of stuff that's been packed since my last move, I might find a few less "ordinary" pinhole cameras.

Is printing a requirement, that is, can a film scan be entered?

Time to dust off my Maui Jim - spouse' sunglasses cardboard case modded for pinhole!

I've entered film scans every time I've participated. Rules permit prints, film scans, or digital.

For cameras I've made, I never purchased a pinhole. I had (probably still have, somewhere) a roll of .001" (.025 mm) brass shim stock, and I used a sewing needle to make the hole, then a flatbed scanner in transparency mode to measure it (pixel width is known, count pixels across the hole image). Of course, laser drilled pinholes were less easily found in 2006, when I last made one, but shim stock, soda/beer cans, and pins or needles aren't going anywhere.

I missed it last year too, just too many things going on at the time. I’m planning on participating this year, most likely with my 8x10 Harman Titan. Although maybe I’ll brake out my 5 1/2” x 14” bamboo panoramic camera. The only problem with it is that is that the 5 1/2” x 14” is a one shot camera and I don’t have a big enough changing tent to reload it in the field. So I don’t tend to use it much.

Darr, wow, sorry to hear about the tree coming through your home, that's got to be scary as hell. The Reality So Subtle is another fun camera that I may shoot on pinhole day. Thanks for reminding me of that one.

Right now as I write this, it's 2AM on 24 April in Japan! Kinda cool that WPPD lasts almost 2 full days worldwide.

My plan is to make 4 paper negatives in the morning, then 4 more in the afternoon... and I've got two packs of FP-100C ready for whatever...

I changed the pinhole in my camera, film is loaded, ready to go. 3h 45minutes until 24th here.

Forgot to take photographs of my set up, but I did get out today with the Titan 8x10. Shot 5 sheets Fuji Astia over in Golden Gate Park. I’ll post some images when I get them back from the lab.

Two rolls of T-Max 100 through my Noon 6x12 pinhole today - set to 6x9.
Lots of trees
Also did some companion shots with the T-Max 100 in my Kodak Tourist, but that might be iffy - a so-called fat re-roll to 620.

I finally was able to observe Pinhole Day. I went out with my Reality So Subtle 6x6 with Rollei RPX 25 and took 12 photos, all of my neighborhood with the trees finally showing their new leaves. It was a little windy so not ideal but sunny at least. I sent the film to the lab so hope to post the results when I get the roll back.

This year I remounted the pinhole in dial-set Compur (with bayonet mount to fit Ica 225 Ideal plate camera, which I used for the 2020 WPPD) on the lens board for my Speed Graphic and made several exposures on Instax Wide with my LomoGraflok. Indoors, shooting the brightly lit aquarium, the more correct exposure was 25 minutes (using Ilford exponent 1.28 for time beyond 1/4 second), while outdoors in bright sun it went down to about a half second -- but with extreme contrast due to the combination of small dynamic range and loss of sensitivity in the dimmer shadow areas.

Haven't uploaded mine yet, in part because getting it digitized was, um, interesting (highly reflective print surface), but should be able to get it done tonight after work.
