I certainly don't need another camera that just sits in my cabinet.

You also probably don't need a (now) approx 94' film roll that won't work in your existing cameras either? There has to be a solution, even if it's spooling it onto a TLR or an inexpensive old folder. I believe you mentioned you had a roll film camera w/ an adapter that it might work with, so there's a possibility. And Dwight said he might want it for his Premo. You're good.

Has ORWO been asked why they were selling Unperforated film when the Norm is perforated? If they are not clear on the difference that may require extra diligence when dong business with them.

No response from FilmoTec yet and I went to the Orwo site on FB and let them know the problem, but responses are always slow

You can use it to spool your own 828 film. I use un-perforated ORWO UN54 in my Kodak Bantam Special.

Hi there this is SUPER weird! I do apologise for this, this is clearly an error on the production side and QC. Can you please confirm your address, we shall get a new one sent to you as soon as we can. Once again we apologise for this. This NEVER happens.

Received a message back from ORWO:

Hm, their QC negatively affected by the insolvency process they are in?
Experienced personal that left the company?

But a good and professional response. If you soon get the correctly finished product, all will be well for you.
But at FilmoTec they are probably wondering now how much wrong products may have passed the QC......

Clearly what they wrote is not the truth (This NEVER happens) as it DOES happen, and I have the proof. I can see the problem as QC has to trust the person who loaded the metal container but the marking on the can states unperforated in very small print.

There may also be a slight language issue here.
I'm thinking that "This NEVER happens" really means "This is a first time ever for THIS screw-up"
Things like this can happen.
The film received by Dennis was correctly labelled on the can. Someone either misread the order, and shipped the wrong product, or someone in shipping sent someone else's product to Dennis (and Dennis' product to someone else?).

That was what I was thinking too as SOMEONE in this world has film that they are going to have a hard time using it as they were planning as you get a lot more film surface on the unperforated film. 😁

Picked up a Canon EOS 10 QD so I ran a few rolls of the unperforated Orwo P400 V3 film through it and the results were quite good. The film curls a lot length wise but nothing that can't be overcome, and the perforated roll might be a bit better with the curling. I only scanned the film and didn't have to do much correcting to get good results. The only developing time I could find for testing was Ilford ID-11 but more experimenting with 510 Pyro developer.
