When I look at my privates there appears to be a severe case of barrell distortion. :O

Lets be clear. Do you mean lens barrel distortion or central core body barrel distortion?
Now don't needle him!it has pincushion distortion
No, your wife said that it is not barrel distortion; it has pincushion distortion with massive shrinkage.
Yeah, well your wife said all you've got is a Minox and you've run out of film.![]()
I dumped the old bag over 13 years ago. I got a much new model with much less mileage. Thin, great figure, and wants to please. In the ten years that we have been together we have never had a fight. She is taller than me. Any woman will tell you why a woman will stay with a shorter man. If you do not know why, ask a woman.
When I am thinking about buying more photography equipment or a major modification on my off-road vehicle, she says, "You worked your life earning money for others. Now it is your turn. If you want it and you will enjoy it then just go ahead and buy it."
How much does she charge per hour?
I have to admit that I shoot both, but I lean on the analog side. I noticed one joy that analog photography offers that digital photography doesn't. It's the joy of anticipation.
OK, call me slow. I did wonder for a while until I finally looked this up:
Chimping:
What one does after taking a picture with a digital camera and looking at the result. Derived from the words they speak when chimping: "Ooo-oo-oo!"
(Made me laff my arse off).
So, what's that reaction when you see your print appear in the developer in the darkroom?
I don't think it was a chimp-like experience.
i agree, its nice not to know. i've film that i don't remember where i was or when i exposed it ready to process. it will be nice to see.
but on the other hand it is easy to turn off the display ( or ignore it) or just look at the 1st exposure ( as if it was 1984 and it was a polaroid )
and make a dozen or 2 or 4 exposures and not look at anything until 3 or 4 months later or hour or whatever. i often use a dslr and just expose like
it was film, and i sometimes shoot 15 rolls of 120 film as if i had a memory card.
i didn't really see it as a DvA thread but a thread about interests. So, you thought, "gee, we don't have enough d vs a threads", and decided to dredge one up from six years ago?
