Nothing wrong with using digital-just remember to wash your hands afterwards (and it makes you go blind if you do it too much ROFL)

Digital is like masturbation... Its quick, easy and the evidence is disposible.

Though, analog photographers are more likely to wash their hands... don't want to leave the chemistry on your skin.

I can tell you don't watch CSI much, heck they match DNA from that type of evidence that is over 50 years old, not to easy to get rid of, I would assume!

:D

I watch more CSI than I care to remeber. But most people are not trying to rid the evidence from a CSI, rather from say erm.... significant others or parents. (or to say in the realm of digital... *delete* even tho someone such as myself could recover the files.)

I am just wondering, it it ok to own and use a digital camera if you are a member of apug, as long as you dont talk about it on APUG?

I think it is ok to use one,
What do you think?

:surprised: :surprised: :surprised:

Made my day!

I think so. As long as you keep it to yourself! I would institute a "don't ask, don't tell" policy!

It will make hair grow on your palms...

That doesn't bother me - I already have a palm-full from my adolesence. I probably shoot 75% digital and enjoy it. However, I do not believe I will ever give up film. My 20d still cannot match my Mamiya 1000s.

Many people are terribly threatened by the possibility that somewhere, someone is having a good time

I like that so much that I think I'm going to steal it, file the serial numbers off and throw it up as a sig line somewhere.

After all, imitation is the sincerest form of ripping someone off.

You know, really this is a silly question....

Is it okay to use.......yada, yada, if you are a member of this website...

Sorry, I don't ever remember letting a website dictate what I choose to do..

Analog Computer

More important than the type of camera you use is the type of computer. For posting on APUG, you must use an analog computer, preferrably one with a whole bank of geared servos and synchros.

Or for that matter the apug server must be the same.

We will make an exception if you use operational amplifiers of Vacuum tubews - I hear the ENIAC is a pretty good platform!

Don't forget that you're not allowed to post photographs in this forum that have been converted to any sort of a digital format. I've never quite been able to figure out that trick myself, as the photos I tape to my monitor are inaccessable to other people.

...and all the Liquid Paper I use whenever I make a typing error keeps ruining my monitors!
