I can't wait to see what you do with this NB23!

Thanks! Me too, getting anxious... i’m planing a trip to Paris by the end of the month and hoping tmax3200 will be available by then...

Have a great time! Remember, it's not the Eiffel Tower itself that's copyrighted. It's the lights on it. So if you shoot at night, the rules are different than during the day.

LoL really? The PITA is truly never ending

Just photograph the Eiffel Tower at night without using any of the illuminating light and you will be alright with the copyright. Either that or sneak to film out of the country before developing and printing.

Nothing here in Australia to speak of as yet, but heaps and heaps of Delta P3200!

Delta 3200 is my go to film for low light needs. It's an excellent high speed film, considerably cheaper it seems from pre-sale pricing for P3200. I look forward to buying and shooting some Delta 3200 next week when I arrive in Japan.

Edit: It seems that those in charge recognized how noncompetitive the pricing of P3200 was. B & H now has it priced only slightly more expensive than Delta 3200 (+6%).

I am still new to all of this stuff, but i am surprised at the interest in 3200 Film. Was this Kodak Film pretty popular in its day.?

Kodak professional had a picture of a brick, or two, on Instagram. They said that product is about to be delivered in the US. Overseas in the coming months.

I've yet to shoot/scan/print my Delta 3200 but I'm hoping that with Rodinal 1+100 grain sharpness will rival Kodak's old 2475 with DK50.

I needed some last weekend at a fund raiser for our high school band... The spotmeter readings of people’s faces (placed on Zone VI) for EI 250 (TRI-X or TMAX 400 can’t remember which I grabbed) came in at 1/8 second and f/2

So I shot at 1/15 second or 1/30 second and I am going to develop to about 0.7 contrast index to try to make something visible.

I wouldn’t have had to push at all if the real ISO was close to 800.

Looking forward to giving it a try.

Just yesterday got a block of 10 rolls to try out (CONUS). Time to hunt down a starting dev time in XTol :D

Shot this on the old TMax3200 in the early 90s - looking forward to the new stuff!!
Captured on my Canon F1 (old) and Tamron 300mm f2.8. Developed in Atomal FF - think it was 12mins, but not certain.

The X-Tol datasheet (j109) includes times for the old P3200 - I would start there.

Kodak Alaris has published a new datasheet F-4001 which includes times for Xtol. AFAIK the times are unchanged from the old version.
