Does anyone here know if noritsu 2031 ever had an Xpan neg carrier?
I tried calling noritsu in our country unfortunately after being semi patronized for operating this old girl they were unable to tell me if noritsu ever made this item and proceeded to tell me if they did , ide never get one. So out of curiosity before i begin searching does anyone know about this item?

No, they never made on for 2031 (90% sure ) We masked a 120 carrier (black tape and thin cardboard ) when needed for Widlux shooters.

Another alternative is to get a 35mm carrier and have it milled our to cover the 65mm length of hte image.

That may work depending on the construction of the carrier. The advantage of using the 120 carrier (masked) is a cheaper and reversible solution. Noritsu carriers are not cheap!

I just got informed by notirsu japan that yes they did make a double frame carrier to suit Xpan etc but only made a few and all production of parts ceased 5 years ago.
the last known one in australia was destroyed 8months ago.

I would just like to add a little note that while yesterday the dude at noritsu did heckle me a little for delving into such an old obscure peice of equipment he did look into it with effective results. it was really nice to call a photographic supplier in this country and get great help. Many thanks Noritsu Australia!
