Without Digital Ice you're literally wasting time.

Worth remembering that Digital ICE doesn't work with conventional black & white films. I guess one of the reasons some photographers like chromogenic mono films like ILFORD XP2 Super.
I do not understand. Does ICE work with only some B&W emulsions and not others?Don't mean to argue, but Digital Ice works perfectly with all sorts of classic B&W films, such as HP3, HP4, ancient Dupont various Fuji.
It should not work with any B/W film that uses silver halides because these silver crystals block the IR scan pas used by Digital ICE.I do not understand. Does ICE work with only some B&W emulsions and not others?
That being said, I scanned Kodachrome with Digital ICE on my Coolscan 8000 and didn't see any weird problems or artifacts. See these scans of the Apollo 8 parade on Kodachrome here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1X3TQxCx1tps1nvkJdbuDsMR5yAaTcuLx
I don't know, it looks like most people wore a hat back then.Fabulous images! I'm guessing that's secret service guys in the hats around the open topped car?
