DMM !!!

well i havent gotten around to properly repair it since i am swamped with university work right now, but i have put a black and white film in and taken a few shots

so far i have only used the manual mode, which works perfectly, but i will further test other modes like P or A, as soon as i chose what to photograp next, i cant really rush this with film as i want to capture things that are important to me

for now i still remove the batteries after every use just to be safe in case there is some increased drain on them and as soon as i get around to visit my relative he will hopefully help me in checking the MB-20 for voltage etc. and further cleaning

Just a little heads up, i have gotten around to testing the contacts with a voltmeter a few weeks ago, and the readings are fine and were they should be, but we discovered that the nipple of the Duracell AA batteries doesn't sit as well in the groove as the German equivalent does and seeing as the contact pin on the body had been stuck prior to cleaning, the spring behind it probably isn't as responsive as it used to be. I would have never thought to check this as i had assumed all AA batteries were the same. This might have been the Problem, as i have a film in it right now i haven't gotten around to testing it in AF mode but i'm optimistic that this change might have made all the difference.

thanks again for all your help way back when, i know i took ages
