I went in the morning. Boy, what a disappointment. The number of filled tables was WAY down from a couple years ago and the crowd was a fairly sparse bunch of moldy old farts like me. I came away a bit discouraged, thinking that the art I love is probably dying just because those who also love it are dying.

But it was raining cats and dogs and the Broncos were playing a rare morning game. Maybe that was it.

I too was a bit disappointed. I got there shortly after the show opened. I went without a mission, nothing particular I wanted, so I was looking for "something wonderful". I bought a couple of filters, a step up ring, and a small Daguerreotype photo in a well worn case. I was there for less than two hours.

It was mostly a film crowd. Yeah mostly old white guys like me (age 58). There was a youngish woman buying up cheap LF lenses for when she teaches wet plate. One or two younger guys selling stuff.
