BMW special editions come with an elaborate display box? Motorcycles, cars, or both? Is this what they mean by a "boxer"? Buy a car, get a garage thrown in? How do you get it home? Is it "laser engraved" like the Leica boxes? And how do you fit it into a bank vault for storage while it appreciates?bjorke said:I am glad to hear that the wooden box doesn't inflate the price -- I'd hate it to a a pretentious cost-inflator for the sake of pointless status, like a Leica "anniversary" box, the boxes for elaborate specialty Barbie dolls (often 50% of the mfgr'ing price or more is in the display box!) or a BMW
Fotohuis said:This nice beechwood box from Bayern is cheeper in production than 6 different seperate paper packings for these films. In my price list the prices of R3 are unchanged pro 10 135-36 or 12 120 rolfilms in this box.
12x 120 rolfilm R3 at Eur. 4,10 will be the same price for 1 box with 12x 120 rolfilm R3 (Eur. 49,20 - Our Fotohuis prices -). So this box is for "free", for storing your negatives, pencils, post stamps, whatever, so what's the big deal?
Best regards,
Robert
PS. Here some preliminary tests done by Wolfgang Moersch of the new Rollei Infrared-400. He was very positiv of this film.

The one who's recently had a pet hamster pass away? Someone with a collection of BMW "matchbox" cars?jandc said:We'll probably carry them. If 3 customers buy 4 rolls a piece who gets the box?

Just a bit over developed, 0,74 logD on the greycard. Not to bad.
