So are we going to get that manual controlled camera with a sharp lens finally?

The pictures on their website are pretty sharp. We can only hope...

Wow... they are going strong...

I wouldn't want to be Impossible Project now. Their miserable quality and ridiculous expense is going to be much harder to sell now.

I was debating on getting a Fuji 500AF which takes Instax Wide film, because I want to be able to at least turn the flash off, but now I'll wait to see what camera Fuji releases for this.

Have you guys noticed the hate this is getting?

I defend IP, New55 and Instax, but with Leica going into the Instant market and the d*ck move of Fuji to stop packfilm production and to focus on the whole instax market, is getting some hate from IP supporters and New55 itself.

And it's understandable. IP film is expensive and not entirely "perfect". With instax growing, Fuji is trying to push everything out to become like Polaroid 30-40 years ago.

So you're Fujifilm, and you try to justify continuing to make pack film for some old fuddies and kooks (I include myself in both categories ) or you scrap the 1960s technology and go after a product that has a potential for selling a 3 or 4 hundred million packs of film a year. This could be the next big thing. It's magic,organic,3 dimensional, instant medium format camera for the masses. The name Brownie would be too obvious, plus it looks like it will have an on board computer that will focus, expose etc. Just push the button and we will do the rest.

Old George Eastman must be turning in his grave. And with skill required to pull off something that clearly no one else can do, they will have the market all to themselves

Brilliant can't wait.
Best Regards Mike

So I'm hoping for a baby blad (no slr) with an electronic view finder and a 60 mm f2.5 EBC Fujinon lens. Like an Apple watch starting price 599 USD
Spring is 6 to 9 months away.
I want to see the camera. If it's a real camera they have a winner. If it's a pink Hello Kitty thing .

Edwin Land had a vision and made it happen 40 years ago let's see if this is real.

Another toy camera for ya...

Screw fuji. I will never forgive them for killing FP100c (and B, and the 45 versions, and 3000, etc.). Instax is complete shit compared to what FP100c was/is.

Another new Instax film.
Film is only as good as the camera. What camera does it fit? A film that does not fit any existing camera would be worse than APX film (for which there are existing cameras).

I have to say there is a wide open market for camera makers if they want to give us a decent camera. Look at what MiNT has done. Now give us a real lens and shutter and I'll buy one. MiNT and the likes will be salivating over this announcement I'm sure.
