Did they ever say it’s new film? the ads are red and purple and shows different formats. Probably just delta 3200 in all formats and xp2 in 120.

Appropos of nothing, and given my complete lack of industry juice....I'm going to say I bet it's Ilfocolour -- some sort of colour offering.

Ilford is a smart savvy company that's in it for the long haul. They're not going to put out this much hype for a nothing-burger. Can't wait to see what it is!!

What a strange place to put it! This clearly belongs in "Industry News"! ;-)
New formats‽ Like like 126 and 127?
That would make some sense, but the not the silhouettes.

My guesses INPO:
- Real Infrared.
- Slow, low grain ADOX competitor.
- Very high speed film. With all stops pulled to getting it fast. There are several recently developed things that could be done to up the speed, that they didn't have time to implement before the rug got pulled in mid last decade.

A number of their current emulsions aren't available in all of 'the usual' formats. Such as Pan F only being in 120, 135, and bulk 135 rolls, but not sheet film.

And I think the other thread wasn't in Industry news because 99% of the content was just everyone spitballing ideas rather than any of the content being 'actual news'...

Well Christmas comes tomorrow so we'll soon know what Santa has brought us. In Canada, Andrew, is the sledge pulled by huskies or moose?

The two pictures above suggest both a film announcement and a paper announcement.

Hopefully, it is more impressive than just new packaging materials.

The pink one we know and the image matches to different size boxes. IV changes to V But the b&w image is a bit weird, what is that square with a tab?

Ilford has played this game well and got much attention.

My totally seriously ment guesses:
Film with prexposed snapchat like filters.... will definitely catch the young ones..
or a 35mm film to easily make direct photochromes (Lippmann process)....so you can capture and display the colour of the world with a BW film.
