Hi guys, was looking to join a forum that based itself around film photography, and found you guys. I've just gotten more into photography in the last year and have been revisiting film photography, I used to have an older Canon EOS SLR, not sure of the model, but I didn't shoot much with it when I was younger and I don't know what happened to it. Now I've gotten into Nikon cameras, which I like a lot. My main is my Nikon D5100 and I have a Nikon F-801S and a Nikon EM. I got them both for pretty cheap with lens, so I think I lucked out on them.

Welcome to APUG. I'm also in Florida.

The prices of film cameras are crazy these days. Kind of hard NOT to go wild on all those nice gears....

Oh God, the prices are amazing, I'm wanting at least an F4, F5 and F100, then I'll work my way down eventually... lol. But first I need to get some accessories such as some of the older flash units and such.

You'll fit right in with rest of us.:tongue::tongue:

Look into Metz 45CT3... I got two of these for cheap from KEH. These are actually low voltage models and are safe for modern cameras. I use mine with F100 (which I have 3 of....)

I'm actually not seeing it at all, maybe you could point me into the right direction. To be honest I've been looking into getting the Nikon SB24 which has TTL.

So.... I ended up finding my Canon EOS Rebel Ti 35mm with the Canon EF 28-90mm f/4-5.6 II, buried in a moving box of all things with film inside, I have no idea what I took pictures of, so that will be a surprise, and it's loaded with Fujifilm Superia 400.
