To be brutally frank, until another film is announced, we have only one choice if we want to use a slow speed, fine grained, non-document, panchromatic film and Rollei RPX 25 is it. I'm simply going to make use of it until it is no longer available or until a better film is introduced. I do hope that it eventually becomes available in sheets, 4x5, 8x10 and whole-plate.

RR

It's available in 4x5 now

RPX 400 as well:

Since I posted about this film, I've purchased it from the US in cassettes and eventually ordered a few 100' rolls from Germany. It's really a lovely film from my use of it so far. Nice to have something so slow for sunny days.

Thanks Kevin. I was looking for the tech. sheet though, as it has some useful information. Anyway, I've translated into English version, albeit a silly one, based on Google Translation and some guesswork.

A english version is not published. You have to rely on your automated rranslation.

I am German. If necessary I translate some sentences from the German sheet.

Thanks piu58. I have translated one. Do you mind going through mine and correct it? I can PM you the file, if you want.

Yes of course. You find mail mail address in the private communication.

German datasheet should be fine. I would guess that in German, the language of precision, a concept like "contrast curve slope sensitivity to developer temperature and time" can be expressed in a single word...

I guess it should be "has not been published". I'm still working on my English...

Do you actually mean Kontrastkurvensteigungentwicklertemperaturabhängigkeit ? This lacks the time dependency, though.

Here is a copy of the English translation. Thanks a lot, Uwe - for correcting my mistakes. I hope you all find it useful. I have only added two additional points - both related to SPUR Acurol-N and HRX developers. I wanted to do a (La)TeX version of the file. But then I got lazy.

Bests,
