need help with metoform 5240 ra-4 processor

Hi all~
I got an metoform 5240 made by meteor siegen which hardly has traces on the internet. It's very big and heavy.
But which unfortunately is the heater and led of it just couldn't work. I open it up, but could find no hint inside of it. Only find two of threes fuses are gone(One missing one defective). But even when I changed it, still made nothing different.
Does anyone know something about this issue?Thank a lot!

A question for you . Why did you buy it?
Planning to print large amounts of printed photos?
The purchase decision in itself has many question marks?
These old machines are always defective and have huge problems.
How can you find spare parts for this processor, especially heaters, etc.
It is very complicated and complicated, and I do not think that this forum has experts in this type of processor, I recommend searching in the forum (Minilab)
- I think your only chance is to find a technician who specializes in this kind of ancient processors in India, India used to like these processors for small photoshops.

I find a lot of pictures of machines, but no instructions,. This is the first I've seen these machines. Look very heavy 62kg!
Looks like this could be used for black and white polyethylene base paper.
Looks good.

Aha! I looked up images as I was curious about this machine, I had never heard of it. Then I saw the images- it looked very familiar because I use one, sold under a different name here is the US: Beseler 16 Auto Print Processor. It is a wonderful machine, easy to maintain with dry to dry paper handling. Speed and temperature are easily adjusted with knobs- I use it for RA 4 print processing. I will dig around and see what literature I can find for it, maybe there are wiring schematics that would be helpful.

Because I used to use jobo system. And it's very trouble because you have to wash and clean the drum every time after you process one paper. But use this dry to dry processor could make color print much convenient( And I do color print a lot).Actually the structure of paper processor is very simple. A heater,two water pumps and a motor for those gears and roller and a main circuit board to control. I guess the problem of the one I have it's the main board has some hurt, hope it could be fixed by electrician.

Sorry I tried but those photos are too big to upload. You can find some when you Google the name of this processor,metoform 5240. Yes, it's very good because you can adjust the speed and temperature of process. The instruction says what btaylor says in German. But they are not that pretty when its function has lost

Yes, they are very same. All of this machine hardly have difference in their structure. Thanks a lot for helping, hoping that could help me make it

First thing to do is open it up and inspect the roller rack closely. Examine the rubber rollers to verify if they're undamaged and supple. If one or more rollers are damaged, I would think twice about attempting to repair the electronics. If the rollers are in good condition, I'd start disassembling step by step and drafting a schematic in the process. Usually such equipment isn't insanely complicated. From there, it's a matter of troubleshooting and determining a repair strategy. It'll be a project for the more electronically inclined enthusiast though.

Maybe; do you have experience with this particular model? I know there are many old Thermaphot ACP processors still around that still work. The rollers are the Achilles' heel, but if properly stored and used, many are still fine.

The rollers work fine,and actually, that's why I bought it because I saw its rollers look very new. And I test it with photo paper,it's all good.
The Water pumps and the roller works good. I asked some of my friends here and they said those Fuji processor Always have this kind of issue when their main board has problems. And I think that's why the fuses are defective too( It's too silly that I forgot to let the seller send me test video, but trust him hundred percent).
Yes, I open the whole machine up. It's not very easy because it's too heavy! Luckily, it's very easy to do, but not like jobo atl has many tricky there which make it very hard to dissemble the machine without repair manual. And I saw the whole structure are kind of simple there, which funny is that the chain contact motor to roller gear is same to those chain used by bicycle.

Yes, that makes sense because the heater of durst printo is very common to fail. But actually The heater is just a metal part connect with power, So it could hardly go wrong in other type of this machine.
