Hi John, can you give us your address and telephone number again?

Hi John, can you give us your address and telephone number again?
Sure Mark. I would rather not post it for the world. I will PM it to you. If anyone else needs it please let me know.

Rain Damage:

We had two tornedos through Bath/Richfield Tuesday night. I know of four roads closed where the road is completely washed out into rivers. The end of our driveway is torn up with overflow from the three foot trench by the road. Southern Road going up the hill from here to the OH Farm Museum has wash out on both sides. I don’t know how long the road will last. Please be careful.

It has rained here for five days. I haven’t been able to mow the grass. Please wear your boots. Please do not drive on the grass. We may not be able to pull you out or 4WD will tear up the ground and leave lasting damage. Please pitch tents by the side of the driveway. Remember three people live down the driveway and will expect to be able to drive past you.

We have a 1/3 acre pond 30 feet from the house that is full of water, bass and blue gill. It has been fished twice in 25 years. Bring your tackle if you like. Catch and release or catch enough, clean and cook for the group. You can see them in there as well as the three foot grass carp.

A request to be careful of Savannah. She is the oldist, skinnyist, smallest of the three Labrador dogs. In people years, she is 102 years old. Mostly she will be asleep. She may stagger up to you, tail wagging, rub your leg and dump on your foot. She can’t help it. We can’t kill her for it. Please help us let her finish her life as comfortably as we/she can.

I'm sorry I can't make it, John. Please give Savannah some extra hugs from me and our pups.

Thanks. You are missed.

John

I'll be coming Sat. AM, I'm greasing the 0-rings in my Nikonos underwater camera to get ready  Any particular time people are meeting at your house? Anyone for Breakfast Sat AM at Memories?

Glad to see you are coming. I just received an email saying that Pete and Susan will not be camping here, rather joining Jim at Super 8. They might be likely breakfast candidates if Super 8 doesn't have breakfast. Maybe if you called here Friday night around 5-7, people could give you a better answer.

Because fewer people are coming this event we did not rent a Porta Potty. You are welcome to use the bathrooms in the house when we are here and awake. If a bathroom is needed when ours are not available there is a park with Porta Potties west of here on Everett Rd.

Go left out of our driveway. Drive 2.5 miles west. A driveway on the right will have a sign “Judge’s Lake Picnic Area”. There are Porta Potties there.

Hope you all have a great time! I (we) will miss seeing everyone. Starting to get settled in here so will hopefully be able to make it out if our gracious hosts decide to do it again this year.

I must have missed the group at Memories this morning (up until 2am last night due to work). Wound up meeting with Jeff in the flats, but due to the rain, we wound up going to the museum to see the 7x17" Lois Connor exhibit. Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow AM.

We had a small but fun gathering, with rain and sun. The Flats seemed most popular, but the Lois Conner 7x17 exhibit was attended, the Ohio Farm Museum had visitors. The print viewing and conversation is as always the best. Dolly and I enjoy talking and seeing photography with like minded people from near and far. Pete, Susan and Jim came from western Michigan. Alex drove down from near Toronto. Mark and Robert came up from Columbus. Peter, Lee, Dale, Jeff are local.

Thank you all for coming and bringing a good time. Come back again for the next event and bring friends.

Thanks again for doing this John and Dolly. It was great to catch up with friends and to make new ones. Really enjoyed the company and the images.
