This one is more of an ultra-wide angle lens, not completely fish-eye because the images are distortion free.

Here are some good questions someone raised:

Was this lens originally made for the Contax-G System and who did the modification?
- Yes, this lens was originally for the Contax-G System.
-
- This is the ad I originally purchased the lens from, the user states the conversion/modification was done by MS-Optics.
- However, they did not provide a receipt or certificate of the conversion/modification.
- I reached out to MS-Optics, they stated they had no record of the conversion/modification on this particular lens.

Does this lens couple to the Leica M rangefinder?
- No, this lens does not couple to the rangefinder.
- On both the G-Mount and the M-Mount the lens does not couple to either rangefinder system.

What frame-lines does this bring up?
- I have an M6 to test this on and it brings up the 28mm lines.

Can the M-adapter be easily unscrewed, so the lens could easily be mounted on the Contax-G body?
- I’m not brave enough to try this but it might be.


Caution: If you're going to use this on a mirror-less digital camera, the mechanical shutter will hit the rear of the lens potentially damaging your camera.
