Thank you John and Dolly! After this hard winter I was looking forward to May 16th. I'm glad I could make it.

John,

Thanks for a great week-end, you and Dololy are turly such gracious host, and made everything enjoyable. The "Flats" are a great destination, and am looking for a return trip soon, a veritable wealth of subject matter. As always the print showing and discussion was the highlight for me, seeing the work of talented photographers with unique visions is always a real learning experience.

Hopefully can return to another get together soon....

Hey All! Sorry I couldn't make it to this one. Boiled down to bad announcement and timing with the Film Photography Podcast Walking Workshop. Had 70+ strong at the FPP, and since next year's meetup is looking to be on the West coast, planning on asking a lot of those folks to head to John's for the next meetup.

John:

Great weekend. The flats were all I'd hoped for. I got something of a lay of the land, and, hopefully, a few images. Lot's more to do down there. Thanks to you and Dolly for the hospitality and to the others, it was great meeting you all. We enjoyed the conversation and the great diversity of images.

When's the next one?

Pete and Susan

Great pictures Alex. Thank you. You definitely got the advantage of our flooding. I heard all three falls were spectacular. I recognize all old friends but the worn out barn. Do you remember where you saw that?

I just found the barn after looking at google earth and street view, closest address I can get is 9988 Riverview Rd, Brecksville, OH. http://goo.gl/maps/MyjyM

Yours is for sure the better picture of their choices.
Thanks,

35mm...not 100% happy how the Retro 80s worked with PMK Pyro, guess I'll stick to Xtol for the film!

Great stuff Alex. Glad to see you exploring. Did you note that the largest of the Blue Spruce across the pond from our house, some 50 feet high, blew down during Sandy's visit? I saw Dale out photographing the remains at one of the gatherings. Possibly there is something there for you. Interesting root structure and of course odd color now that it is dead.

I always get a kick out of the Pure Station now being an art exhibit venue. Some change from my first job age 17 as a grease monkey in a local Amoco station.

Keep on posting. Thank you for what you have shown.

John
