Hi John. Sue and I will roll into the area on 16 July. We will be staying in Streetsboro. Looking forward to it.Looks great Lee. What day shall we expect you at the next event? Is your wife coming?
John
That is cool. Now if I had a 1936 Hudson to roll up to it and some very cool old suits with a long chain on my pocket watch !!!Lee,
Along the lines of your Sunoco shot, just north of Peninsula is the town of Boston Mills. They have a restored gas station (Pure Oil) that is now used as an art gallery.

Important corn information. Dolly stopped at Zalay's tonight (near the covered bridge) to pick up some fresh vegetables. They expect to have their first corn later this week. What you may remember from last year that in addition to selling a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, they also have a stand in the back where you can buy freshly squeezed lemonade and freshly roasted corn. They have a bucket of melted butter and you can get all the cholesterol you can stand. I mean fresh corn, roasted before your eyes. Most people eat until their eyes pop out. Just something to think about when you are not at the Country Maid for an ice cream. Did someone hear Jeff groan? Still going to that wedding Jeff?
John
I'm drooling right now! Maybe we could get Country Maid to make a roasted corn ice cream? They do that down in Mexico and it is pretty good stuff.

Any chance one of you would be able to record that video off of PBS? We aren't getting it shown up here in Detroit.
I see that it is playing today at 2pm - wow, that's not much notice ...
Wow. I lost track of our event dates with the Fourth of July activity. NE OH Gathering, July 16-18, 2010. That is just a week and a half away. Who all is thinking of coming? When should we expect you? Three maybe four people from the Midwest LF asylum are talking about coming. Lee & Sue from Dayton are coming. Talk to me! Who else will be here and when? Are there any changes in the evolving plan that people would like to see? Will there be enough that chipping in for the $111.00 Porta Potty is reasonable. Bring prints to show and tell.
John
I've got it on my DVR and if I can figure out how to put it on a VHS tape, I'd be happy to do so.
I just made a VCR tape of it. Thanks Jeff B. for pointing out the play time. The tape will be available to look at if anyone is trying to decide whether to go to the show or not.

Andrew Moore is a friend of ours - in fact the assistant in that video is my good friend Dan, who played tour guide for most of the places shown in the book. I would highly recommend the show to anyone interested.
