I shot a roll of HP5 in my 1954 Rolleiflex MX and processed it in a Patterson tank (x1 120 reel.) Shot at ISO 400, 5 minutes in HC110 @ 68 F, 375 ml fluid. Instead of putting the big black cap on the tank and inverting it, I inserted the little plastic rod and would spin the reel around backwards & forwards once a minute for a few times. My film strip had a light colored line running down the side (which scans & prints dark.) I can also see what looks like bubble marks in this strip. Did I screw up by not putting the black cap on the tank and inverting it? That could conceivably cause the bubbles. Could it also cause the 3-5mm line running down the side? Or, did I mess up processing AND have a light leak in the camera?
