Nick,

"Agfa already has stopped cutting sheets."

Where did you get that? Or does Agfa cut bulk in the USA - following the link you gave later in this thread, the names for the color papers are different from ours?

In Europe both color and bw papers are cut in the same place, a plant in France, while rolls are cut in a dedicated german plant.

I've got the same info from a couple different people. Ranging from people in Australia to Europe. Are they still cutting colour paper?

Honestly, I am tired of the analog vs digital printing debate. I am a B&W negative shooter. I started as a darkroom printer, but I slowly migrated away from darkroom printing. Why? Well, I have more control (grayscale-wise and toning) with digital printing. I avoid the chemicals. Also, I have more time flexibility given that I have a day job. The main reason it took awhile to stop using wet printing altogether is that some prints just looked better with a nice glossy, fiber paper. Once the glass goes on, though, I'd rather a nice matte paper anyway. Both digital printing and good wet printing take a long time to learn to do well, but both can produce amazing results.

Of course, take this with a grain of salt since I am just finishing some digital negatives to make some cyanotypes......

Ah..so you are tired of the digital vs analog debate and then proceed to describe why you choose digital in a web site that is dedicated to analog photography...makes a lot of sense...
