I see Ari's Poop thread as a Soap Box Forum for toilet humor.
As long as we have a place to get it out of our system, ...um, so to speak... the rest of the threads can concentrate on camera, not bowel, movements.
Apparently it is working. I haven't seen any low-brow jokes about bodily functions in the "Minimal focusing distance of Caltar-II 90mm/6.8" or "Diethyl Ether-why use it for collodion work?" threads since this one was started.
For those with a sudden, pressing urge to drop a comment, it offers a private place to relieve themselves while critcs of the thread can simply wash their hands of it.

At least we're not talking about movements on our cameras or aperature sizes. And let's not even get into the ultra-large size debates. And nothing better appear in the galleries to illustrate this thread. But perhaps it could be said that the entire listing has at least been an moving experience. And the notion of a wet darkroom has taken on a whole new dimension.
