New.

We were camped outside a small town, I walked into town the next morning and walked down the main street and came across this perfectly lit old bank building. I then walked back to camp to get my camera and associated gear, then returned. By which time the light had moved a bit, the shadow on the right wasn't there when I first came across the building, and the shadow from the light pole was no longer bisecting the left side windows.

New.

After finishing the building photo (above) I was walking back to camp and as I was crossing a suspension bridge I was stopped in my tracks when I looked up the creek. The almost early winter light coming in quite low was what really grabbed me.

Bit of an issue with the suspension bridge swaying slightly, but I got there. This picture was taken 25 minutes after the building one.

Thank you Don, it was a very lucky thing that I was carrying my complete backpack, which, among other things, contained my remote control shutter release thingy from Canada.

No matter how hard I tried, with the very slight breeze, and my inability to stand super steady on the suspension bridge, I affixed my remote shutter release, walked to the edge of the bridge, waited until I could see no discernible movement, then squeezed the remote button. Running a ¼ of a second shutter speed, any kind of movement would have been detrimental.

I was helped by the fact the area is in a severe drought and the creek has stopped flowing, sort of forcing the ducks into this small area where I luckily had an overview.

@Don_ih - That is one chilled goose. I really like this image.

@loccdor - There are a few places in my town that have displays like this. Neat when junk can be used for art or other things.

@avandesande - This is what would happen if I was behind the wheel. Good image.

@BAC1967 - What a find. Holding on. The struggle.

@jeffreyg - I like the boat and oxen images. The ox on the front-left looks like he's posing. What an experience. The unexpected became a party. Looks like that statue has had just enough of those pigeons, lol.

@russljames - That's a huge one. Zucchini noodles is something I would like to try.

@Ivo Stunga - That is one tough bird. I like the dramatic image of the smoke from the broken power cables. After seeing your work I would like to try my hand at black and white reversal.

@skylight1b - The duck greeter. I like the accent of yellow of the duck within the neutral/warmth of the buildings. The IR image is really cool. I couldn't get Catlabs X 320 to work out. Catlabs is the first film that doesn't seem to work well with BT2B either, unless the process needs to be modified but through my experiences with the slim tolerance of the film and its punchiness I'm thinking that film may require a specific developer.

@chuckroast - Do those tires come with hubcaps? My town has a ton of potholes in the roads. Often hubcaps are laid out all over the sidewalks. The hubcap image I recently posted is one of them, lol.

@Mick Fagan - It doesn't take long for lighting to change. Did you use a wireless or wired release for the creek image? Very nice image.

Appreciated
I can only encourage to give it a shot if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind iterating, reiterating and experimenting.
