Second time posting to APUG, first time in the MSA! I've been trying to shoot along with the assignment every chance I got, but now I'm finally able to print scan and post!
(Wish I could afford subscribing to the forum, but like.. yeah. college student... Gotta pay for hotpockets.)

I'm taking an intermediate black and white class at the local junior college, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying printing in the darkroom.
Anyways, I've got two prints that fit the assignment!

First up, my cat following her own path: the fence. I wonder how the neighbors feel about her shenanigans.

Yosemite Pathway
And a pathway. In Yosemite. (hence the title. ;P) Not sure which trail this was, but I thought it was interesting how the trees were lighter on one side than the other.
Actually, now that I think about this, this was shot last summer, but I wasn't able to develop the film, or print, until this month.

PS. I'm really digging all y'all's photos for this assignment! Makes me want to shoot more!
PPS. I hope I'm posting this correctly. I haven't seriously posted anything to a forum since middle school.

I can see them, and they look good. Cats take interesting paths, and I like the two tone of you Yosemite picture. I hear you on the college budget.

Thank you for the submissions! (and yes, they are posted correctly). Nice work in the darkroom with both images. I teach at a community college (not photography though) and I’m glad to see your desire to pursue traditional film photography. I loaned an old Pentax Spotmatic to a student of mine this semester, who like you, said he was enjoying the film experience. He's now bringing me new photos to look at almost every week. Please keep your submissions coming also!

Thanks for another image! Was this one also taken with the Horizont? Is has that same fishbowl feel to it as your previous image taken with that camera.
Yes, it is with the Horizont. I needed to run a second roll through it and kept an eye out for MSA subjects.

I have just been advised that Sean has adjusted the settings in the Monthly Shooting Assignment gallery so as to permit everyone who participates in the MSA - subscribers and non-subscribers - to upload their entries there, and view that gallery.

One problem remains for non-subscribers. If someone puts their entry into a different APUG gallery (e.g. the Standard Gallery) and then links to that entry in the thread, the presence of the link makes it difficult for non-subscribers to navigate the thread. In addition, of course, the non-subscriber cannot see the entry.

I would ask everyone to do two things.

Can someone who is not a subscriber check to see if they can access the MSA gallery and post back here with the result?

And if you have a post to a link to an entry where the link is to an APUG gallery that isn't the MSA gallery, can you add the entry to the MSA gallery and then send me a "heads up" so we can work on changing the link in your post.

Thanks!

My issue has been uploading a photo from my iPad gallery into this thread. I can link to the APUG gallery, but I image non-subscribers can't see it.

Since folks are reporting problems, I have one I would like resolved.
Monthly Shooting Assignment
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

This gallery contains images for the Monthly Shooting Assignment. click here for details and submission guidelines.

When I click on "click here" nothing happens.
I have been using a link Sean sent me to get to the thread, but I hoped this glitch would have been resolved by now.
How is everyone getting to the current thread?
