I've seen some very interesting images that people have taken with projection lenses. They seem to be taken with mirrorless digital cameras. I'm wondering if anyone has been successful in mounting a projection lens onto a film SLR, such as my Nikon F2. I've been told that this won't work; the rear element of a projection lens fits too close to the focal plane of the film to fit properly. Has anyone had any experience with this question? I'm not in a hurry to get a digital camera.
