Well I guess it's my turn to come up with the next assignment, and for this round I've chosen "Two".

Any interpretation of "two" is acceptable, including, but not limited to:

-two subjects
-the number 2
-a double exposure
-a diptych
-a two-second or two-minute or two-hour exposure
-an image shot with two lenses (stereo camera anyone?)
-a development or printing process (such as 2nd-pass lith, 2 different toners, etc)

These are just a few ideas I had off the top of my head, but I'm sure there will be other creative interpretations of the theme. Of course, I'd like to hear the details behind your photograph too (or should that be two?).

Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

Two words: Excellent assignment.

I might even try this one. Have stayed away for about five years, so maybe the time has finally come again.

How about two wrongs do make a right? Sometimes I cock up taking a photo, but then cock up development in a way that cancels out the first and I still get a perfectly servicable neg out of it...

Glad you guys like it! Actually, I had a few other ideas in mind, this theme just came to me when I was eating breakfast. I wish I could post a few images to get things started, but I'm currently travelling through Borneo (Java will be next). I may not have access to the internet over the next couple of days, so I'll be eager to see if there are any early submissions when I get back to (modern) civilization!

I.G.I.

How about this two "eye" Art Nouveau house, one of the most illustrious in Brussels. A bit amusing a twist to the metaphorical saying The eyes as windows to the soul - here the literal windows take the form of wide open utopian eyes to the world.

Great submissions so far!

I even shot a few images yesterday but my camera broke and the roll had to be sacrificed to see if I could fix it (I couldn't). Not a big deal for this assignment but it is frustrating since I am travelling. I guess it's a good thing I brought two main cameras for this trip!

Damn you! Now what's the point?

Heh, heh... oh yea...

Is this how his opponents felt after they climbed into the ring, looked up, and saw Mike Tyson glaring across at them?

Basically, I honestly can't compete with that!!

Sadly, as a joke I wanted to post an image I taken previously, not to be cheating, but just as a kidding around, but realized unfortunately that the image is digital in fact and so I can't even post it as a joke BUT, it involves twins and behinds and bubble bath... Lol

Very nice shot. I like the Bronica as well. Maybe we can hold a shoot out here in Holland sometimes?
And if we make a double portret (2x Bertus, 2x Bronica, 2x in and from Holland) we could win this MSA together

How do you like the Rollei Vintage paper to work with?
